Thomas Törnros has over 25 years of work experience in various industries. Thomas is currently working as a Global Support Manager at Mynewsdesk since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked for Intertek as a Business Support Manager for North Europe & Central Asia from April 2019 to August 2022. Thomas also worked as a Customer Service/Coordinator at SIX Payment Services from February 2010 to August 2012, where they managed rollout/installations for payment solutions.
Starting their career, Thomas worked as a Consultant/Installer at MICROS Systems Inc from November 2006 to February 2010. Thomas also gained experience in the hospitality industry, working as a Restaurant Manager at Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden from April 2005 to July 2006, and as a Restaurant Owner at Storholmens Krog from March 2004 to March 2005.
Thomas also has experience in the role of Restaurant and Bar Manager at Scandic Hotels from November 2002 to March 2004. Thomas began their career as a Tour Guide at TUI from July 1996 to May 1998.
Thomas Törnros began their education in 1999 at Gothenburg International Hospitality College, where they pursued a diploma in International Hospitality Management. Thomas completed this program in 2001. Following this, they enrolled at Oxford Brookes University in 2001 to study Hotel and Restaurant Management, obtaining a BSc degree in this field in 2002.
