Nacer MacApanas

Nacer Macapanas currently serves as the Cyber Security and Fraud Management Architecture Head at GCash (Mynt - Globe Fintech Innovations, Inc.) since September 2023. Previously, Nacer held the position of Senior Security Architect at Cisco, focusing on delivering tailored architectural solutions and overseeing security transformations across the Asia Pacific, Japan, China, and South Korea from July 2022 to September 2023. Nacer has a long tenure at Smart Communications, Inc., from May 2006 to May 2022, where roles included leading the development of Cybersecurity strategies, designing Cybersecurity infrastructures, managing IP Network & Security operations, and overseeing Network Operations Center activities. Nacer holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, graduated in 2005.
