Betty R. Johnson is the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at MYR Group. Betty has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining MYR Group, Betty was the CFO and VP of Global Finance at Sloan Valve Company. Betty was instrumental in developing and executing the strategic plans, managing the banking and insurance relationships, financial analysis, acquisition activities, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, taxes and payroll functions.

Betty has a proven track record of successfully transforming finance teams to support the analytical and strategic needs of the business. Betty is an expert in designing and implementing metrics and reports to provide actual, budgeted and forecasted financial data throughout the operation. Betty has also successfully implemented new corporate structures to provide family ownership with significant tax advantaged results including the creation of LLCs and IC-Discs. During their time at Sloan Valve Company, they also renegotiated the credit facility to support the new environment.

Betty is known for their ability to successfully manage the financial modeling, adjust the strategic plans, and address banking, insurance, and audit requirements during unique business conditions.
