Thomas Harrison

Thomas Harrison, MB(ASCP) CGMBS, has extensive experience in clinical laboratory management and molecular diagnostics. Currently serving as Clinical Laboratory Manager for Data Review at Myriad Genetics since May 2018, Thomas has previously held positions as Clinical Laboratory Supervisor and Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist, focusing on data review for prenatal and carrier screening tests. Thomas expanded knowledge in technology and computer science through self-study courses on platforms such as Coursera and edX between 2020 and 2021. Prior to Myriad Genetics, Thomas worked at CareDx, Inc. as Clinical Laboratory Scientist II, where responsibilities included laboratory testing and reporting for molecular diagnostic assays related to kidney and heart transplants, and began the career as an intern at Veracyte and CareDx. Thomas also has a background in DNA sequencing and quality control from time at DNA2.0. Academic qualifications include a BS in Microbiology from California State University, Chico, and further education at San José State University.
