Michael Leigh has extensive experience in user experience (UX) and design roles. Michael started their career at Lux Group as a Digital Marketing & UX/UI Designer. Michael then moved on to Optus, where they served as the Head of UI/UX Design for eSolutions. After that, they joined Telstra as the Digital User Experience Manager for Telstra.com.au and later as the Head of UX for Telstra Wholesale. Michael then worked at National Australia Bank as the Practice Manager for User Experience and Experience Design. Following that, they served as the Head of User Experience & Design at Vicinity Centres. Michael then joined Little Birdie as the Head of User Experience & Design, where they played a crucial role in bringing the product to market. Michael later worked at Telstra as a Consultant for Experience Design. Recently, they have been associated with ANZ Bank, where they held the positions of (Co) Acting Director of Design and Associate Director UX / UI - Wholesale Digital. Currently, they are working as the Head of Product, UX / UI Design at OZSALE and as a Future Skills Industry Mentor at RMIT University. Throughout their career, Michael has been responsible for setting strategic design direction, driving user testing and inclusive design, and establishing best design practices.

Michael Leigh attended Deakin University from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Interactive Media degree with a specialization in Graphic & Web Design. During their time at Deakin University, they also completed a CERT II+III Vet Multimedia program. Prior to their enrollment at Deakin University, Michael attended Wesley College, although specific details about their degree or field of study at Wesley College are not available.
