Alex Smirnof

Alex Smirnof has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on roles related to Android development and leadership. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Web Developer at PervoSoft before transitioning to Postindustria in 2011, initially as a Web Developer and later as an Android Developer. In 2014, they joined Sitesoft as an Android Team Lead, followed by a position as a Lead Android Developer at Redmadrobot in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Head of Android at Splyt, a startup in London and Moscow. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they held the role of CTO at PapaJobs, a job marketplace and hiring automation solution. In 2019, they joined Raiffeisen Bank Russia as the Head of Engineering, SVP, overseeing a mobile team and implementing various engineering initiatives. Lastly, since 2020, they have been the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer at MySky, an ecosystem of IT products for Business Aviation.

Alex Smirnof obtained a Magister degree in Applied Mathematics from Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they received a Certificate for successful completing an online school of Android-developers, offered by e-Legion & Google, in the year 2015.
