Kartik Mangudi Varadarajan

Kartik Mangudi Varadarajan serves as the Head of Research & Clinical Evidence and Advisor for Partnerships and Clinical Research at MySquegg since September 2022, and is the Founder & CEO of Pictus AI. Previously, Kartik held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Visionairy Health Inc. from October 2020 to September 2022 and was an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School from March 2010 to March 2022. Kartik's extensive experience includes leading over 15 funded research projects generating more than $3.5 million in support, mentoring post-doctoral fellows and R&D engineers, and presenting on joint biomechanics and orthopedic technology. With numerous publications, patents, and a strong background in innovation and clinical research, Kartik has contributed significantly to the field of orthopedics, including the development of advanced knee replacement systems and various technologies licensed to major manufacturers. Kartik earned a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
