Ben Whitcomb is currently a Customer Success Specialist at Mystery.org. Prior to that, they were an CTE Advisory Program Coordinator at Oregon Charter Academy from August 2019 to August 2022. In that role, they developed, educated and supported professional development activities for teachers and school staff members, was an equity and inclusion committee member, and developed and implemented Career and Technical Education program policies and procedures. Ben also established and managed personalized plans of study and progressive graduation plans for students to earn their high school diploma congruently with industry certified CTE endorsement, designed and implemented strategic recruitment and retention campaigns, advocated for teachers and students needs to administration and leadership entities, and was a Breakfast Club Member (LGBTQ+ student advocacy group). Prior to that, they were Art Director at Scappoose High School from August 2018 to August 2019, and Art Director at West Linn Wilsonville School District from September 2014 to January 2018. Ben started their career as an Art Teacher at the West Linn Wilsonville School District from September 2012 to June 2014.

Ben Whitcomb has a Master of Education from Portland State University, a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University, and an Adaptive Leadership Certification Program from Western Oregon University. Ben also has certifications from the Oregon Department of Education in Teacher License and Career and Technical Education, and from the AVID Center in AVID Certified Instructor.
