Varun Vijayan

Varun Vijayan has over 10 years of work experience in the lighting industry. Varun began their career in 2010 as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. In 2012, they moved to Philips Lumileds as a Technical Marketing Intern. In 2013, they were a Product Design Engineer at Enfrien Solutions. From 2014 to 2016, they were a LED System Engineer at GE Lighting. Finally, they were a Lead Project Consultant, Lead Lighting Consultant, Senior Lighting Consultant, and Senior Lighting Specifier at Mysupplier from 2016 onwards.

Varun Vijayan obtained a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree from Manipal Institute of Technology in 2013, where they studied Energy Management, Auditing and Lighting. Varun also obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from Amrita School of Engineering in 2009, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, they hold a certification in ISO/IEC 17025 - Laboratory Management System from the Confederation of Indian Industry.
