Jamal Asif

Jamal Asif began their career in 2010 at KPMG as a Supervisory Senior Audit & Assurance, where they were responsible for keeping engagement teams motivated and well-coordinated, planning and scheduling audit programs, and luring clients to keep fulfilling audit engagement information requirements. In 2014, they were seconded to KPMG Lower Gulf as a Senior Audit Associate, where they gained an understanding of the corporate environment and conducted audits of various national and multi-national organizations. In 2015, they joined MGI Worldwide as a Manager Audit & Assurance, where they were responsible for preparing business proposals for new leads. That same year, they also joined Kohinoor Mills Limited as the Head of Internal Audit, where they led the Internal Audit team to deliver impactful functional audits and governance reviews. In 2019, they joined Masood Textile Mills Limited as a Senior Finance Manager and Finance Manager, where they led the Finance teams of four manufacturing sites, ensured site costing and regular reporting, and monitored production losses and efficiencies. In 2021, they joined United Industries Limited (UIL) as a Financial Controller. Finally, in 2022, they joined Janke LLP as a Manager Accounting and Taxation, where they were responsible for tax planning for clients, tax fillings and correspondence with tax authorities, ERP/Accounting software consultancy and implementations, and compilation and review engagements for the management of the company.

Jamal Asif has a comprehensive educational background. Jamal completed their High School from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) in 2007. Jamal then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics as majors from the University of the Punjab in 2010. In 2014, they became an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and obtained their Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) degree in 2013. Jamal also holds certifications from various institutions such as QuickBooks Company, Gusto, Karbon, Xero, The ICAP, and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. These include QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, Gusto Payroll Certification, Karbon Certified Expert, XERO Payroll Certified, Xero Advisor Certified, Certified Director, SAP Financial Module, Advanced Financial Modelling, and Associate Member.
