Sam O'Mahony

Sam O'Mahony's work experience begins in 2011 at Voxpro, where they served as a Shared Services team member, focusing on efficient management of personal telecommunications and excellent customer care. In 2012, they worked as a Content Designer at PositiveMaths, creating tuition content for 2nd level maths students and balancing their workload with a college timetable. In 2013, O'Mahony was an Applications Engineer Intern at Analog Devices, working on technical tasks and developing circuit analysis and design skills. In 2014, they were an NDnano Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Notre Dame, conducting research on non-Boolean computing using nanodevices. Sam also worked as a Mechanics Tutor at University College Cork, Ireland (UCC), providing guidance and lectures to engineering mechanics students. From 2015 to 2018, O'Mahony was an Electronics Design Engineer at Shimmer. In 2018, they became the Head of Research and Development at EVSE Systems, responsible for designing and building smart EV chargers. Currently, O'Mahony serves as a Senior Electronics Engineer at Mytos, leading the design of electronics and firmware for robots used in cell production and cancer research.

Sam O'Mahony completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University College Cork from 2011 to 2015. In 2013 and 2014, they also studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UC Santa Barbara. Prior to these university studies, they attended Douglas Community School from 2005 to 2011, although the specific degree and field of study at this school are unknown.
