Dico Guia

Dico Guia is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in project design and implementation, as well as project evaluation and monitoring. Dico has worked for various companies, including MZ & Partners Architectural & Engineering Consultancy, Bin Dayel Contracting, NAFFCO FZCO, Design Coordinates Inc., Kimura Shoji Manila Inc., and A.T. Barrameda Construction Inc. During their roles, Dico has been responsible for reviewing and evaluating contractor material submittals, reviewing shop drawings and design calculations, monitoring and checking mechanical activities, resolving contractor complaints, preparing design calculations and coordination drawings, and liaising with engineering consultants. Dico has also been involved in project implementation, preparing lists of tools and materials, preparing sketch drawings and proposing alternative solutions, conducting preventive maintenance, and supervising mechanical works. Dico is skilled in complying with project specifications, local and international codes and standards, and ensuring compliance with design drawings and project specifications.

Dico Guia completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Misamis University from 1994 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as a Registered Mechanical Engineer from the Professional Regulation Commission in December 2001. Later, in April 2007, they acquired the certification of Registered Master Plumber from the same institution.
