Shane Aulenback

Shane Aulenback has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering leadership. Shane currently holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at N-able, where they provide exceptional leadership to the company's RMM products. Shane has a track record of optimizing performance and fostering successful partnerships with cross-functional leaders.

Before joining N-able, Shane served as the Chief Technology Officer - Education Vertical at Valsoft Corporation. In this role, they played a critical role in M&A activities and provided leadership to multiple companies, optimizing resource allocation and implementing key processes.

Prior to Valsoft, Shane held the position of Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at Kivuto Solutions, where they played a key role in the acquisition by Valsoft. Shane was responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the entire product factory, managing various teams and departments.

Shane's work experience also includes roles such as Director of Product Development at Windstream, Vice President of R&D and CTO at Decision Academic, VP of Product Development at CSDC Systems Inc., Director of Development at Cactus Commerce, Director of R&D at Covidien, and Director of Development & Quality Assurance at Corel Corporation.

Throughout their career, Shane has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, implement processes, and deliver high-quality products. Shane has experience in various industries, including healthcare, e-commerce, and education.

From 1990 to 1995, Shane Aulenback attended Dalhousie University where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Computing Science. Their field of study was Computer Science with a co-op program.
