Head, Data Quality at N-Power Medicine

Ayse Tezcan has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ayse is currently working as the Head of Data Quality at N-Power Medicine, Inc. Ayse'sprevious role was as the Director of Clinical Development/Operations at Foundation Medicine from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Statistical Steering Committee at Friends of Cancer Research from 2019 to 2021. Ayse also held the position of Head of Clinical Development at Lexent Bio from 2017 to 2020. Ayse worked as a Research Consultant as an Independent Contractor from 2012 to 2017. Ayse gained experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis Medical Center from 2014 to 2016. Ayse co-founded CA.RE. Foundation Inc. in 1999 and worked as a Co-Founder until 2016. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant at UC Davis from 2014 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Ayse worked as a Certified Clinical Research Associate at North Idaho/Kootenai Cancer Center from 1997 to 2010. Ayse also completed an MPH practicum internship at Heritage Health (Dirne Health Centers, Inc) in 2006.

Ayse Tezcan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Epidemiology from the University of California, Davis. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University. Ayse also has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Public Health, Health Economics, and Services from the University of Washington.

In addition to their formal education, Ayse Tezcan has obtained various certifications. Ayse has completed courses such as Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera, earning verified certificates. Furthermore, Ayse Tezcan has completed a course on Ethical and Social Challenges of Genomic and Precision Medicine from Coursera. Most recently, they obtained a Level 5 certification for conducting investigator-initiated studies and investigator obligations from the CITI Program, a Division of BRANY.
