Paul Cohen

Paul Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Paul is currently working as a Data & Operations professional at NAAMA Studios since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Monocle Solutions from 2016 to 2021, holding positions such as Manager, Senior Consultant, Consultant, Senior Analyst, and Analyst.

In 2015, Paul was the Head of Operations at Harrington's Dry Cleaners, where they managed the operations of a family-run retail dry cleaning chain. Paul was responsible for lease negotiations, staffing logistics, management accounting, and other management tasks.

Paul also had a brief role at the CFA Institute in 2015. Additionally, they completed a 6-month internship as a Financial Analyst at Personal Trust International (Pty) Ltd in 2014, during their B. Com Hons. year.

Paul Cohen attended the University of Cape Town from 2010 to 2013, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Property Studies with a major in Economics. Paul then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) FAPM degree at the same university from 2014 to 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Paul obtained the SAS Macro Language 1: Essentials certification from SAS in September 2019, the Microsoft (70-461): Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 certification from Microsoft in August 2018, and the Financial Risk and Regulation (FRR): Level 2 certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in September 2016. Paul also completed the SAS Programming 1: Essentials certification, although the exact date is unknown.
