Avishekh Shrestha

Avishekh Shrestha has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Avishekh is currently the Head of AI Services at Naamche since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Fusemachines from 2019 to 2022, where they held multiple roles. Avishekh served as a Team Lead of NLP Services, leading a team in developing a voice-activated food order parsing system for US restaurant chains. Avishekh also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer Level II, improving the OCR and document parsing model for invoice and transactional document parsing. Additionally, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer Associate, developing an AI-assistive learning chatbot for fuse|classroom. Avishekh was responsible for integrating knowledge graphs, question answering systems, and gamification modules into the system. Before joining Fusemachines, Avishekh was an AI Content Creator and Fuse.AI Instructor, designing syllabus and creating content for AI courses at Fusemachines. Avishekh also has intern experience as a Software Engineer at Sireto Technology and LIS Nepal Pvt. Ltd.

Avishekh Shrestha completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Trinity International College from 2013 to 2015, where they pursued +2 Science as their high school degree. Besides their formal education, Avishekh also obtained additional certifications, including becoming a Chartio Specialist - Level 1 from Chartio in January 2021, completing CSMM.102x: Machine Learning: ColumbiaX from edX in December 2019, completing CSMM.101x: Artificial Intelligence (AI) from ColumbiaX in January 2019, and receiving the TensorFlow Developer Certificate from the TensorFlow Certificate Program in July 2021.
