SVP, Global Drilling Operations at Nabors Industries

With more than 26 years of leadership experience in the oil and gas industry, both domestic and international, Travis Purvis serves as senior vice president of global operations. In this role, he is responsible for Nabors’ global operational and financial performance. Purvis is also a board member for SANAD, an onshore drilling joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Nabors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as a board member of KMG Nabors Drilling Company, an onshore drilling joint venture in Kazakhstan.

Prior to joining Nabors, Purvis served on the executive team of OILSERV, building the integrated capability of the company, with additional oversight for core operations in Iraq. He held a number of engineering and management positions at Schlumberger and Shell, working in high efficiency onshore markets, as well as complex offshore environments.

Purvis is a founder and chair of a not-for-profit charity, House of Grace and Hope, which provides on-site support and financial grants to projects having a direct and positive impact on the lives of orphans.

Purvis holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
