Andrew Billany

Trustee at Nacro

Andrew Billany has dedicated their career to helping others and making a difference in their community. Andrew has worked extensively with migrants and refugees, helping them to navigate the asylum process and access support services. Andrew has also worked to combat human trafficking and modern slavery. In their current role as Trustee at Nacro, they are responsible for overseeing the organisation's strategy and performance. Prior to this, they served as Managing Director at Homes for Haringey, where they helped to improve housing conditions for residents in the borough. Andrew Billany is a committed and passionate advocate for social justice, and they will continue to work tirelessly to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Andrew Billany completed a BA (Hons) in Theirtory at Goldsmiths, University of London. Andrew then went on to study for a Chartered Institute of Housing qualification in Housing at the Chartered Institute of Housing. Andrew subsequently completed an MSc in Public Service Management at London South Bank University. Prior to this, they had achieved 3 A Levels and 9 O Levels at South Holderness School in Preston, East Yorkshire. Andrew is also a Chartered Institute of Directors (IoD) qualified director, having completed a course in Organizational Leadership at the Institute of Directors.
