Royd Warren

Mr. Warren has 24 years of experience in the power generation industry and is responsible for overseeing a current NAES fleet of 114 plants, totaling 25,897, and includes 42 CCCT plants, 31 SSCT plants, and 41 plants of other technologies. He co-leads, the development and execution of policies, programs, and procedures designed to ensure safe and reliable facility operations in compliance with applicable permits, agreements, laws, and regulations. He is a registered professional Electrical Engineer and hold a license in the state of Kansas.

Mr. Warren’s experience in the energy industry includes positions as Director and Plant Manager (NAES), O&M Manager and Electric I&C Engineer (Black Hills Power), Electrical Engineer and Electrical Controls Engineer (Black & Veatch). Mr. Warren’s experience includes electrical design, construction, startup and testing, operations, maintenance, administration and management and is a recognized subject matter expert in system design and specifications for electrical systems and equipment. Mr. Warren has an B.S.E.E. from the University of Wyoming.
