Gwyneth A. Smith

Gwyneth A. Smith is an accomplished professional in the field of international education with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Trainer Corps Chair at NAFSA: Association of International Educators since January 2023, Gwyneth oversees the Trainer Corps program and provides support and preparation for its members. Prior to this, Gwyneth held significant positions at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, including Senior Associate Director and Associate Director in the International Students and Scholars Office. Gwyneth's background includes roles as a Senior Trainer at International Education Training Services and multiple leadership positions within NAFSA Region X. With a strong academic foundation, Gwyneth holds an Ed.M in International Educational Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University, and other degrees in International Relations and Psychology.
