Yakup Ömer

Yakup Ömer has a diverse work experience in IT and risk management. Yakup is currently serving as the Head of IT Governance at Nagel-Group since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Team Leader for IT Risk, Compliance & Security at the same company from July 2020 to October 2020. Yakup Ömer has also worked as a Risk Manager in Information Security at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics from July 2019 to June 2020. Yakup has a teaching experience as a lecturer at Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) since January 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Information Security Officer and Information Technology Security Specialist at Nagel-Group from January 2018 till June 2019 and from September 2012 till December 2017 respectively. Yakup has also worked as an IT System Administrator at Hoffmann Company from March 2010 till August 2012 and as an IT Specialist at Deutsche Telekom from September 2007 till February 2010.

Yakup Ömer obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik from the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) in 2015. Yakup then pursued a Master of Science degree in IT-Management and Information Systems at the same institution, graduating in 2018.
