Ashley Waters

Ashley Waters has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Starting as an Intern Software Engineer at SEED Software Solutions in 2011, Ashley gained experience in meeting clients, drafting requirements analysis, producing design documents, and coding within a team using agile project management methods.

In 2012, Ashley joined ESP Systex Ltd as a Software Developer, where they worked on multiple roles such as writing applications, data transfer services, online content management systems, and handling data loads for large-scale databases. They also focused on bug fixing.

In 2015, Ashley moved to Nagels and took on the role of a Technical Project Manager, responsible for managing smart ticketing solutions. This included liaising with customers and third-party vendors, as well as writing applications for encoding smart tickets and controlling project-specific hardware. Ashley later became the Head of Software Development at Nagels, overseeing a team of developers and software engineers. Their main focus was developing custom software for the printing industry, contactless smart card solutions for various environments, and digitizing the production environment to Industry 4.0 standards.

Ashley's work experience reflects their expertise in software development, project management, and team leadership.

Ashley Waters completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science at The University of Manchester from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Hull, which took place from 2010 to 2011.
