Itza Yesenia Martinez

Itza Yesenia Martinez is a journalism student at Moody College of Communication, expected to graduate in May 2025, with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Minor in Media and Entertainment Industries. Itza currently serves as a KXAN News Intern and holds multiple roles at TSTV News, including Senior Life & Arts Reporter, Instagram Manager, Morning News Anchor, and Associate Producer. Previous experiences include internships at NBC News, where Itza contributed to NBC News NOW and the TODAY Show, as well as a position as a General News Reporter at The Daily Texan. Additionally, Itza is actively involved with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists as a Community Coordinator.
