Sophia Rentschler

Sophia Rentschler has a diverse work experience. In 2023, they worked as a Video Production Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Sophia also held various roles at The Maneater, including Managing Editor and Multimedia Editor. Additionally, they took on leadership positions at NAHJ (National Association of Hispanic Journalists) as Co-President and Secretary. In 2022, they worked as a Fundraising Assistant at KBIA 91.3 FM and as a Retail Sales Associate at Urban Outfitters. In 2020, they were a Shift Lead at CHOP5 Salad Kitchen. Other roles in their work history include Podcast Executive Producer at Mizzou Student Media, Production Assistant at KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW, and Social Media Intern at Westerville City Schools. Prior to all these experiences, they were a Diploma Student at Global Scholars from 2019 to 2022.

Sophia Rentschler completed their high school education at Westerville-North High School from 2018 to 2022, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on Journalism. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2022 to 2026. During their time at the university, they studied Physics and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Additionally, Sophia also pursued another Bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia in Broadcast Journalism, completing it within the same timeframe of 2022 to 2026.
