Olivea Myers serves as Legal Counsel III at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) since July 2019, progressing through roles of Legal Counsel II and Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Attorney General at the Missouri Attorney General's Office and a legal internship at the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, where legal briefs were drafted and legal research was performed. Additionally, Olivea worked as a paralegal for the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, drafting various legal documents, and had an earlier internship focusing on legal documentation and research within the same department. Prior to these roles, Olivea gained experience as a Financial Assistant at Razor Solutions Group. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Tennessee College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science with a Pre-Law Concentration from Georgia State University.
