Manager, Macroprudential Supervision at National Association of Insurance Commissioners

Tim Nauheimer is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently, Tim serves as the Manager of Macroprudential Supervision at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) since March 2019, having previously held roles as Senior Financial Markets Advisor there. Prior to joining NAIC, Tim was a Director of Enterprise Risk Management at S&P Global Ratings from June 2017 to October 2018 and served as Chief Risk Officer at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. from January 2013 to June 2017, where responsibilities included designing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management function. Additional experience includes positions at the New York State Department of Financial Services, KPMG, Deutsche Bank, Yamaichi International America, Salomon Smith Barney, and Brown Brothers Harriman, all focused on internal auditing and risk management. Tim holds an MBA in Finance, Investments and Securities from the Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a BS in Accounting from the New York Institute of Technology.
