Eugene Roodt

Eugene Roodt is the founder of Nile.ag, a tech-enabled B2B sourcing platform for the wholesale trade of fresh produce across Africa, a role held since September 2020. Prior to this, Roodt worked at J.P. Morgan from October 2017 to September 2020 as an associate in investment banking, focusing on consumer and retail, as well as Sub-Saharan Africa coverage. Roodt's earlier experience includes a position in corporate finance and advisory at Investec from January 2014 to September 2017, with a focus on M&A, corporate finance, and capital raising. Roodt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Stellenbosch University, completed the Chartered Accountant Programme, and attended Hoërskool Waterkloof and St Alban's College for high school education.
