Imene Chekkal

Imene Chekkal has extensive work experience in various roles related to risk management and consultancy. Imene currently holds the position of Director of Risk Management at Nakheel, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte as an Enterprise Risk specialist starting in 2021. From 2016 to 2021, Imene served as a Manager at EY, gaining valuable experience in risk management. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at EY from 2013 to 2015. Imene also has experience as a Research Fellow at the University of Bristol in 2013.

Imene Chekkal completed their education in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Imene obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the same institution, graduating in 2012.

Additionally, in May 2021, they obtained a certification in MRAeS from the Royal Aeronautical Society.
