Deanne Fisher

Deanne Fisher has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Director of Public Affairs, Customer Service, and Stakeholder Relations at Newfoundland & Labrador Hydro since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Corporate Affairs at Nalcor Energy starting in August 2014. From May 2005 to July 2014, they held the position of Director of Marketing and Development at The Rooms Corporation. Before that, they were the Manager of Marketing & Development at Memorial University of Newfoundland from May 2004 to June 2005. Deanne Fisher began their career as an Account Manager/Director at M5 Marketing Communications, where they worked from 1997 to 2003.

Deanne Fisher completed a Social Media & E-Marketing Certificate in 2011 from Memorial University of Newfoundland. In 2006, they obtained a Masters Certificate of Project Management from York University. Deanne holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they earned from 2000 to 2003. Deanne also received a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they completed from 1989 to 1995. In 2021, they became a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner through Prosci.
