Angela Weimer SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in various organizations. Angela started their career in 1993 as the Director of Special Events at MALDEF, a role they held until 1994. From 1993 to 1998, they also served as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the National Conference for Community & Justice. In 1998, they joined the NALEO Educational Fund as the National Director of Human Resources and Administration. Angela held this position for an unspecified period. In 2003, Angela became a Board Member at the Cornerstone Theater Company, a role they maintained until 2010. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the Executive Director of the East L.A. Classic Theatre, where they were responsible for the development and delivery of educational outreach programs and theatrical productions.
Angela Weimer SHRM-SCP obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA. In September 2015, they also obtained their SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.

The NALEO Educational Fund is the leading nonprofit organization that facilitates full Latino participation in the American political process, from citizenship to public service. The NALEO Educational Fund is a nonpartisan 501 (c)(3) organization first established in 1981, we carry out our mission through programs that integrate Latinos fully into American political society, provide professional development opportunities and technical assistance to the nation’s more than 6,000 Latino elected and appointed officials, and monitor and conduct advocacy on issues important to the Latino community and our political participation.
