Ian Cresswell

Ian Cresswell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ian is currently serving as the Chief Entrepreneur in Residence at R3i Ventures since November 2020. In May 2021, they took on the role of Director of Operations at Naluri Therapeutics (Euro) Sàrl. Prior to these positions, Ian worked as an Independent Consultant from March 2020 onwards. From March 2020 to December 2021, they served as the Manager at Composite Industry Luxembourg a.s.b.l, where they played a key role in consolidating Luxembourg's composite industry.

Before these roles, Ian had a long tenure at Luxinnovation GIE, where they held various positions from 2002 to 2020. Ian served as a Senior Executive Advisor, Head of International Affairs, and Consultant, contributing to the organization's mission of fostering innovation and promoting Luxembourg business.

Additionally, Ian served as the Treasurer at Cluster for Logistics, Luxembourg asbl from 2010 to 2019 and as a Member of the Board at GS1 Belgium&Luxembourg from 2007 to 2015. Prior to these roles, they owned A&I Enterprises as the Owner from 2001 to 2006.

Ian's early career includes positions as an International Development Specialist at Thomas & Betts Corporation from 1997 to 2000 and as a Production Manager at Thomas & Betts Luxembourg SA from 1985 to 1997.

Ian Cresswell obtained a Chartered Chemist degree from the Royal Society of Chemistry from 1974 to 1976. Subsequently, from 1991 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Corporate Strategy and Manufacturing Strategy at The Open University.
