Jorn van Doren

Jorn Van Doren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as a Senior Commercial Advisor for NAM BV Assen since October 2018, focusing on the Groningen gas system and underground gas storages. Previously, Jorn held roles at Petroleum Development Oman as Lead Reservoir Engineer and Front-End Development Manager, where responsibilities included subsurface integration for oil fields and managing expansion projects. Earlier experience includes working as a Reservoir Engineer for Shell, developing workflows for production optimization, and a PhD in Systems and Control from Delft University of Technology. Jorn also has a strong academic background in Petroleum Engineering and additional qualifications in coaching.
