Alain Falys has a diverse work experience in the technology and finance sectors. Alain co-founded and served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Sylq, a leading payment platform in Europe. Prior to this, they co-founded and was the CSO at Qori, a pioneering mobile payment solution. Alain also co-founded Namastay, a digital platform that empowers hotels to engage with their guests directly.

Alain has held various roles in venture capital firms, including being a Venture Partner at Fabric Ventures and a General Partner at Firestartr. Alain also served as a Member of the Technology Advisory Board (TAB) at NatWest Group.

Additionally, they have advised the Chief Executive Officer at Pelican.ai, a global innovator in payments and financial crime compliance technology. Alain was also a co-founder of Yoyo and served as its CEO and Chairman. Alain led the company's successful exit to SaltPay.co.

Earlier in their career, Alain worked as a Venture Partner at Touchstone Innovations, a technology transfer, incubation, and venture investment company. Alain co-founded and served as a partner at Omnis Mundi, a business incubator focusing on technology, internet, and services sectors.

Alain Falys began their education at Middlesex University from 1984 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in European Business Administration. Alain furthered their studies at NEOMA Business School from 1986 to 1988, earning another Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree in European Business Administration.
