Carmen Collins, EMBA, CISM has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different roles and industries. Starting in 2002, they joined Cintas and completed their management trainee program, where they gained experience in sales, operations, and office roles. In this role, they successfully managed a small branch and achieved a 150% increase in safety training program sales.

In 2006, Carmen Collins joined FedEx Freight as a Sr. Sales Education Specialist. Here, they developed sales education courses, facilitated training for over 900 sales professionals and management, and served as a liaison to IT for the implementation of new tools.

After that, Carmen Collins moved to FedEx Services in 2011 and assumed the position of Project Manager. Carmen ensured compliance with federal regulations, improved processes within the High Risk Investigations team, and contributed to a significant increase in fraud detection.

Continuing their journey at FedEx Services, Carmen Collins became a Cybersecurity Project Manager in 2013. In this role, they managed the integration of an acquisition through a $28 million portfolio of Information Security projects. Carmen also managed large-scale projects with global salesforce communication.

In 2018, Carmen Collins took on the role of Cybersecurity Manager at FedEx Services, leading a team of security architects and analysts. Under their leadership, the global identity management program was matured, with increased effectiveness of access controls and improved workflow and throughput by 50% within six months.

Currently, Carmen Collins works as the Director of IT and Information Security at Namecoach, where they develop and implements an information security program aligned with organizational priorities and objectives. Carmen also coordinates the implementation of information security policies.

Throughout their career, Carmen Collins has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills, and has excelled in improving processes, driving efficiency, and achieving goals.

Carmen Collins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Carmen went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Executive Management from The University of Memphis. Carmen has obtained a certification as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in June 2021. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Quality Driven Management Expert from the ASQ Human Development and Leadership Division, which they obtained in February 2014.
