Matthew Palmer

Matthew Palmer is an experienced propulsion systems engineer currently serving as the Propulsion Systems Lead at Nammo AS since September 2017, following a role as Senior Propulsion Engineer. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Propulsion Engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd from March 2013 to September 2017. Matthew specializes in the design, manufacture, integration, and testing of propulsion systems, including gaseous (xenon), liquid mono-propellant (hydrazine), and liquid bi-propellant (MMH/NTO). Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Experimental Evaluation of Hydrogen Peroxide Catalysts for Monopropellant Attitude Control Thrusters and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aeronautical Engineering, both from the University of Southampton.
