Shaun du Plessis

Shaun du Plessis began their work experience in 2006 at KPMG as an Articles employee and stayed with the company until 2008. In 2009, they joined Nampak Corrugated, where they worked as a Cost And Management Accountant until 2010 and then became the Divisional Financial Manager until 2014. Shaun then moved to Nampak Nigeria Ltd in 2014 and served as the Finance and Supply Chain Director until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, du Plessis worked at Alistair James Company Ltd as the Head Of Finance. In 2019, they joined Nampak again as the Regional Financial Director until 2021, and since November 2021, they have held the position of Managing Director at Nampak Zambia and Nampak Malawi.

Shaun du Plessis obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Matric at St Stithians College from 1997 to 2001. Shaun also pursued further studies, including a CA(SA) qualification from SAICA and a BCompt Hons degree in Accounting from Unisa, although the specific years of these certifications are not provided.
