Simon Ridley

Simon Ridley is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Nampak. Prior to their current position, Simon was the Group Financial Director at Standard Bank Group from April 1999 to May 2016. Before Standard Bank Group, Simon was the CFO at Absa from March 1989 to March 1999.

Simon Ridley's educational career began at Melsetter Junior School, where they completed their primary education. Simon then went on to Capricorn High School, where they completed their Standard 7. From there, they attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Adv Dip Acc in Accounting and Finance. After that, they obtained their CA (SA) from the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants. Lastly, they attended Templeton College at Oxford, where they obtained their AMP in Business Leadership.
