Garett Leskowitz has a diverse work experience in the field of science and education. Garett began their career in 2000 at the University of California, Riverside, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher & Lecturer until 2005. Following this, they joined the Joint Science Department of the Claremont Colleges as a Visiting Assistant Professor, holding the position until 2010. In 2009, Leskowitz became the Chief Science Officer at Nanalysis Corp., where they currently work.

Garett Leskowitz pursued their education in the field of Chemistry with a Bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, starting in 1984 and completing it in 1988. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at Caltech in 1992 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry after a decade of dedicated study, completing it in 2003.
