Miriam Washington Kendall is the Chief Marketing Officer at Nanit. Miriam has previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer at MakeSpace and M.Gemi.

Kendall was recruited to M.Gemi, a VC-backed Italian shoe brand, in order to run all marketing efforts and help grow the brand. Under their leadership, the company saw significant growth in site traffic and repeat customer revenue while also increasing the average order value. Kendall launched 7 new marketing channels, including YouTube Influencers, Podcasts and Cardlytics, as well as Canada marketing.

In addition to growing the brand, Kendall also developed key partnerships, including a unique DTC store-within-a-store model with Bloomingdale's, the first influencer collaboration with Marianna Hewitt and the first apparel brand collaboration with Reese Witherspoon's company Draper James. The company received media recognitions from Vogue's “These Are the 50 Digitally Native Brands You’ll See Everywhere in 2019,” GartnerL2 “What’s Next for Instagram Stories,” and Fast Company “The World’s Most Innovative Companies 2018.”

Miriam Washington Kendall has a masters in organizational management from The George Washington University and a bachelor's of science in psychology and economics from Tulane University. Miriam also has a certification from Duolingo in french fluency - intermediate.

They are on a team with Elisabeth McDaniels - SVP, Strategic Operations, Mark Frackt - Chief Financial Officer, and Chen Fisher - SVP, R&D. Miriam Washington Kendall reports to Sarah McCollum Dorsett, CEO.
