Hakim Elakhrass

Hakim Elakhrass is a seasoned professional in the field of data science and bioinformatics, currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of NannyML since October 2020, where the focus is on developing an Open Source Python library for detecting silent model failure and identifying data drift. Prior to this role, Hakim founded Prophecy Labs, providing elegantly crafted data solutions from 2018 until October 2020, and worked as a Big Data Engineer at Essent.be, where large-scale data platforms were developed using Scala/Spark. Additional experience includes a position as a Research Bioinformatician at SCK-CEN, contributing to projects related to long-term space travel and gene expression data analysis. Hakim holds a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from KU Leuven and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Montclair State University.
