Scott Barnes

Scott Barnes has over 20 years of work experience in the supply chain and procurement field. Scott began their career in 1998 as a Senior Research Associate and Project Administrator at Medstat Group (Thompson Reuters). In 2000, they moved to Insight Electronics as a Buyer/Planner. In 2003, Barnes joined Harmonic Somfy as a Supply Chain Manager. Scott then moved to Solar Turbines Inc. in 2007 as a Procurement Specialist. In 2012, Barnes joined Illumina as a Supplier Relationship Manager and Staff Buyer, NPI. In 2019, they moved to Prometheus Biosciences, Inc. as a Senior Manager, Supply Chain. Barnes then joined ProciseDx in 2020 as a Senior Manager, Supply Chain. Most recently, in 2021, they joined NanoCellect Biomedical, Inc. as a Senior Supply Chain Manager.

Scott Barnes' education history includes an MBA in Management from the University of San Diego, obtained between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Delaware, between 2003 and 2008. Scott also obtained a Certificate Program in Operations Resource Management from San Diego State University between 2004 and 2006. Additionally, Scott Barnes holds three certifications: ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional (obtained in 2018 from ASQ - World Headquarter), Certified Supply Chain Professional (obtained in December 2006 from APICS), and Certified Production and Inventory Management (obtained in July 2006 from APICS).
