Tanmay Jhunjhunwala

Tanmay Jhunjhunwala has held a variety of roles in the technology and media industries since 2012. In 2012, they were a Summer Intern at Transitainment Ventures, a startup incubated in the NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore, where they were involved in Database Management, On-field Marketing of their android app "CarryOn" and Analysis of content usage trends. In 2013, they were a Project Trainee at the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology, where they developed a request tracking system to handle requests, complaints and inquiries for both intranet and cloud resources. Tanmay was also a Marketing Lead at Zumbl.com in 2013. In 2014, they were a Summer Intern at TCS Innovation Labs, where they implemented a virtual file system with data and index blocks capable of imitating different data arrangement patterns, and simulated a database cache to determine optimal query plan and caching algorithm. In 2015, they were a Co-Founder and Head of Algorithmic Trading at NeuralTechSoft, where they devised a correlation based pairs-trading strategy for stock futures, employed momentum sensitive entry and exit, and automated the strategy using Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation API. Tanmay was also a Co-Founder at RunnerBee, where they worked to build a platform to provide a personal runner to everyone, on-demand. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer at Microsoft. In 2017, they were a Co-Founder and Head of Strategy at EatTreat, India's first and foremost food media company creating both editorial and multimedia content around food. In 2019, they were a Co-Founder and Head of Strategy at Rusk Media. Currently, they are the Head of Strategy at Nanonets.

Tanmay Jhunjhunwala attended Delhi Public School - Korba from 1998 to 2009 and obtained their A.I.S.S.E. degree. Tanmay then attended Nalanda Academy, Anantpura from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained their A.I.S.S.C.E. degree in Science. Finally, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained an Integrated Mtech degree in Mathematics and Computing.
