Emma Harper has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Project Manager/Assistant Editor at Pearson, managing multiple educational projects. From 2010 to 2011, Emma served as an Editorial Board Member at FORUM, acquiring articles and working closely with authors. Emma then worked as an Editorial Assistant for the Humanities at Stanford University Press from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Body Time as a Retail Sales Associate before quickly moving up to become a Retail Store Manager, Blogger, and eventually the Director of Marketing and E-Commerce. Emma also worked as a Writer and Editor in their freelance capacity, specializing in research-based articles and brand strategy. Most recently, they held roles at Solésence and Nanophase Technologies, where they served as the Director of Corporate Strategy and Mission.
Emma Harper obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in Italian Studies and interdisciplinary studies in Classical Studies from Kenyon College, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they also received an Italian Language C1-Level Certification from Universita Per Stranieri di Perugia. Later, from 2010 to 2011, Emma pursued a Master's Degree in Comparative Literature at The University of Edinburgh.
