Senior Manager - Battery Development at Nanoramic Laboratories

Jonathan Wagner has worked in a variety of roles in the field of battery development and product development engineering. In 2020, they began their current role as Senior Manager - Battery Development at Nanoramic Laboratories, where they contribute to the development of high-performance lithium ion batteries and supercapacitors based on novel nanotechnology. Jonathan also assists with electrochemical and mechanical testing of electrodes, experimental data analysis, and report writing. Prior to this, they held a Research Associate role at Lionano, where they experimented with lithium ion and lithium metal pouch cell battery designs in an effort to maximize energy density, increase cycle life, and improve rate performance. Jonathan also analyzed and prepared reports on cell testing data for cathode, separator and electrolyte evaluations. In 2016, they worked as a Polymers Research Co-op at Saint-Gobain, where they modified and optimized PVC and latex-based coating formulations for use in cement board reinforcement materials and contributed to new product development for affiliated manufacturing facilities. In 2015, they worked as a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Co-op at Acorda Therapeutics, Inc.
