Hugh Haimes

Hugh Haimes has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Hugh began their career in 1989 as a Graduate Management Trainee at Unilever. Following this, they held roles such as Sales & Marketing Accountant, Systems Accountant, and Factory Accountant at Unilever. In 2006, they became the Group Finance Director at Express Electrical Group, where they were responsible for financial management of businesses with a combined turnover of £25m. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Consultant for Private Clients and as a Director for Sugar Lane Consultancy / Pro FD. During this time, they also held the role of Financial Controller / Finance Project Manager (FTCs) at Smiths News. In 2014, they were appointed as the Finance Director at DRB Group. Finally, in 2020, they became the Finance Director & Company Secretary of NanoSUN.

Hugh Haimes attended St Anselm's College, Birkenhead, United Kingdom from 1978 to 1983, where they completed their high school education. Hugh then attended Bishop Vesey's Grammar School, Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom from 1983 to 1985, where they again completed their high school education. In 1985, they enrolled in Liverpool John Moores University and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies BA (Honours) in 1989. Hugh is currently enrolled in The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 1996.
