Jane Dancer has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. Jane began their career in 2000 as a Global Project Manager at Aventis CropScience. In 2002, Jane joined Cambridge Antibody Technology/AstraZeneca as a Director of Business Development. Jane was responsible for a range of transactions, and was part of the negotiation team for the strategic collaboration with AstraZeneca established in 2004. In 2008, Jane took on the role of Vice President of Business Development at Cellzome, where they led the negotiation of two significant collaborations with GSK and was responsible for the alliance management of these. In 2012, Jane joined F-star Biotechnology Ltd as a Business Development Consultant and Chief Business Officer. In 2018, Jane became a Non Executive Director of the BioIndustry Association. In 2020, Jane assumed Non Executive Director roles at NanoSyrinx and Macomics, as well as Non Executive Chairman at Spirea and PharmEnable. Jane is currently a Non Executive Director at Elasmogen Ltd.
Jane Dancer completed their MBA from the University of Cambridge in 2002. Jane earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Plant Biochemistry from the same university in 1987. From 1981 to 1984, they obtained a BA in Natural Science, First Class from the University of Cambridge.
