Ashavani Kumar

Ashavani Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials science and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Nanosys since January 2021, Ashavani leads the product development of Quantum dot-based materials for display applications. Prior roles include Senior Manager positions at WI Lab, focusing on designing components for vaping devices and developing aerosol test methods, and at JUUL Labs, where Ashavani led new product development efforts. Ashavani's earlier experience includes a position as a Scientist at Applied Materials, handling laser process research and engineering improvements, as well as a role as Senior Materials Engineer at Oceanit, leading various innovative material development projects. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India, and an MSc in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
