Sean began their career as a Lab Engineer at GEC Plessey Telecommunications before moving to Ferranti Defence Systems as a Reliability Engineer in 1987. In 1990, they joined IBM (UK) Ltd as a Development Engineer, PC Server Development, EMC Engineer, and Power Supply Evaluation Engineer. In 2000, they moved to Cadence Design Systems as a Senior Design Engineer, Datacom/Telecom Group, where they were responsible for hardware digital board/system design, schematic capture, specifying and procuring components for prototype boards and specifying board layout requirements. In 2002, they joined National Semiconductor (UK) Ltd as a Digital Design Engineer, where they were involved in ASIC Digital Design, architecture definition of digital blocks, Verilog rtl design for synthesis, DSP analysis and design, design simulation and verification, logic synthesis and timing analysis, and device evaluation. Sean then joined Texas Instruments (UK) Ltd in 2012 as a Digital Design Engineer, where they were also responsible for ASIC Digital Design, architecture definition of digital blocks, Verilog rtl design for synthesis, DSP analysis and design, design simulation and verification, logic synthesis and timing analysis, and device evaluation, as well as project digital design team lead. In 2016, they moved to Huawei/Neul as an ASIC Digital Design Engineer. Two years later, they joined West Coast Semi Design Ltd as a Digital Design Engineer and, in 2020, they joined Nanusens as an ASIC Digital Design Engineer.
