Senior Finance Manager

Job description

AERON is a Budapest-based but international fashion brand with three million euros in annual revenue. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager; this role reports directly to the CEO and is part of the senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the finance team (+1 person) and actively and independently managing all stakeholders (accountants, tax advisors).

  • Preparing monthly closing and collaborating with stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure correct and timely closing, report preparation, and data provision.

  • Proactively developing the FP&A area with independent initiatives and project implementation.

  • Controlling inventory management (raw material, finished product), and managing and improving CoGS calculations.

  • Preparing annual and project-level business plans and creating plan-fact analyses every month.

  • Managing operational finances and ensuring appropriate administration across the entire company.

  • Leading treasury activities, cash and liquidity management, and active cash flow management, both in the short and long term.

  • Managing ongoing subsidy projects, finding new opportunities, and ensuring adequate reporting.

  • Ensuring ERP-based operation, continuous developments, and implementing various reporting automation.

Requirements and experience:

  • Minimum five years of experience in a finance or accounting position

  • Associate degree in finance, accounting, or business fields

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Workspace applications

  • Experience of working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central

  • Ability to prioritize and manage various stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Positive mindset, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
