Esther Quek

Esther Quek is the current Chief Human Resource Officer at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Esther has previous experience as the Regional Lead Integration Project Management Office at GE and as the OD Director at MFLEX.

At GE, Esther oversaw all functional work streams in the integration between GE Oil and Gas and Baker Hughes Inc in Asia Pacific. Esther was responsible for the strategy, stakeholder engagement, change management across GE and BHI to maximize synergies of facility and business consolidation.

At MFLEX, Esther was responsible for designing and developing intervention programs to systematically improve and sustain organization effectiveness & efficiency to achieve high performance business results. This involved organization diagnostic, process re-engineering, change management and utilization of proven methodologies to create a learning culture for global MFLEX. Esther also trained HR staff on latest organization development intervention tools and techniques.

Esther Quek has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Esther also has a Graduate Diploma in HR Management from the Singapore Institute of Management.

Esther Quek reports to Subra Suresh, President & Board Member. They work with Gan Chee Lip - Associate Provost, Undergraduate Education, Kwok Kian Woon - Associate Provost, Student Life, and Timothy John White - Associate Vice President, Infrastructure and Programmes.
